FUNDING OPPORTUNITY GUIDELINES & REGULATIONS

We continually update and improve our mandated, continuum-wide Standards of Administration. These Standards are reviewed annually and updated according to CoC, Emergency Solutions Grant, Nebraska Homeless Assistance Program, and Iowa Shelter Assistance Fund programming changes, best practices and current initiatives.

HUD CONTINUUM OF CARE NOTICE OF FUNDING OPPORTUNITY (NOFO)

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) established the Continuum of Care (CoC) program to distribute housing funds to communities across the U.S. In Douglas, Sarpy, and Pottawattamie counties, local service providers received $7.1 million in CoC funds in 2024. This is one of several sources of funding providers use to help end homelessness in our community.

Find important announcements and information regarding the 2025 NOFO below. We recommend that you check back regularly for any updates that may apply to your organization.
